Bouchard Names Glas VP of Regulatory Affairs

American independently owned oceangoing petroleum barge company, Bouchard Transportation, has promoted Captain Robert W. Glas to Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs.

Captain Glas will interact with regulatory committees and trade organizations on behalf of Bouchard Transportation Co, Inc., reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, Michael S. Brady.

Captain Glas has been with Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. for a total of 22 years and most recently the company’s Director of Compliance. His previous company experience includes 16 years in the fleet as a Captain operating on the East and West Coasts as well as the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean; he was also the Fleet Port Captain for five years.
