Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) is advising that the Bosphorus Strait in Turkey will be closed in both directions on 15 July between 07:00-14:00 approximately due to the ongoing construction works on the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge (initially named the Third Bosphorus Bridge).

Bosphorus traffic will be suspended to all transit passages during this time. The exact re-opening time of the Bosphorus Strait on 15 July will depend on the completion of the work and could be extended.

The Bosphorus Strait is a key shipping channel in the region for commodities. ISS will monitor the closure and keep its clients updated.
