In recent years, Blue Water Shipping's port activities have developed rapidly with activities in an increasing number of Danish port. Blue Water now extends its activities within shipbroking and port agency in the ports at Lolland-Falster. Port activities include shipbroking, chartering, stevedoring as well as terminal and warehouse services which are offered to all types of vessels and cargo. Blue Water will be represented with its own offices in the ports of Nakskov Roedby and Bandholm whereas the company's own people or local partners will be servicing for instance Orehoved and Nykoebing Falster.

"With this new structure, Blue Water is able to offer the most nationwide port agency product in Denmark. Based on our wide experience, we see great possibilities for being an active player in the development of the activities in Danish ports. Our new activities on Lolland-Falster are connected to the large construction activities in the region and are also a natural strengthening of our present set-up in the region", explains Soren Stougaard  who  is responsible for Blue Water's port agency activities in Denmark.

Furthermore, Blue Water will as from 1 January 2015 take over the day-to-day operation and sales and marketing of Bandholm Port. The company is already represented with its own office in Roedby which offers transport and logistics solutions to the clients. Altogether, Blue Water has 16 offices in Denmark.

"It is natural for us to be close to the markets with activities and where we can see potential for further development. Here in this region, the large infrastructure projects are especially in focus, for which the security of supplies is of the utmost importance for all actors involved. They will therefore be able to benefit from our expertise and extensive international network", says Niels Tolstrup who is responsible for the development of Blue Water's port-related products in the region.
