Bibby Ship Management formed a strategic alliance with Singapore-based United Ship Management to capitalize on opportunities in the Chinese market.

Bibby-USM Shipping Pte Ltd., as the new joint venture will be known, was set up as an independent company by both companies to help diversify operations into the North Asia region, targeting China and Taiwan for specialist sectors such as offshore, oil and gas, LPG and LNG.

It is envisioned that Bibby-USM Shipping Pte Ltd. will offer a series of comprehensive one-stop-shop marine services such as Technical Management; Consultancy; Crew Management; Offshore Training; Surveying and Marine Travel.

Both Bibby Ship Management and United Ship Management will continue to deliver their independent strategies outside of this specific target market.
