Assent Partners with Maritime Medical Management

Assent Medical Cost Management announced a partnership with Maritime Medical Management to better serve its maritime industry clients with the added benefits of case management. Maritime Medical Management delivers a full line of case management, telephonic and onsite case management, rehabilitation case management and cost containment services for P&I Clubs, shipowners, cruise lines and vessel owners.

The addition of case management offered by Maritime Medical Management is to coordinate the timely and medically necessary services for outpatient care, inpatient admissions, appropriate length of stay, prevention of unnecessary extended inpatient admissions and appropriate discharge planning. Adding Maritime Medical Management to Assent’s services will benefit the Maritime Industry crew members by maximizing quality of care in a cost effective manner.
