New Appointments at BMT Designers & Planners

BMT Designers & Planners, a subsidiary of BMT Group, an international maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has announced the appointments of Albert Graves as Financial Controller and Greg Jose as Marketing Manager.

Graves will join the senior leadership team to further strengthen the company’s financial performance and business processes, while Jose brings marketing and business development and proposal expertise to support and improve the company’s marketing strategy and performance. Both bring a background in accounting and marketing.

Graves has previously worked in senior financial roles, where he increased both project margins and accelerated project delivery through improved financial planning, cost and schedule control, earned value management and by integrating disparate divisional policies, procedures and management tools. Graves has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in BSBA.

Jose has nearly a decade of experience working in the marine engineering industry where he held progressive management and leadership responsibility in a broad range of business and technical functions, including marketing, business development, bid and proposal management, public relations, graphic/print/web design, corporate branding/visual identity, event planning/management, government affairs, special projects and ferry/marine transportation technical consulting. Jose has a Bachelor’s in BA / Political Science.
