The Monjasa Group said it has undergone thorough independent testing, inspection and certification by Bureau Veritas and has managed to upgrade its combination of quality certifications to become the first bunker company to meet the new requirements executed in 2015 and increasingly take a risk management approach.
  • ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management)
  • ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management)
  • OHSAS 18001:2008 (Occupational Health and Safety Management)

“In the current market situation, we see quality management and compliance as a prerequisite to work in bunkering, and we have decided to act in consequence. We have made million-dollar investments both in terms of human expertise and creating end-to-end IT solutions in all our physical and trading operations,” said Monjasa Group COO, Svend Stenberg Mølholt.
“Monjasa declines several bunker fuel inquiries every week. Trading opportunities, that do not comply with our quality standards or are doubtful in relation to our strict compliance policies, we simply leave to our competitors.”
