Speedcast Announces Executive Management Changes
Speedcast International Limited has announced two changes to its executive management team: Keith Johnson will become chief operating officer, and Erwan Emilian will lead the Enterprise & Emerging Markets division. Johnson, currently EVP of Speedcast’s Energy Division, will take over for David Kagan as chief operating officer, while also keeping his existing Energy Division responsibilities. Kagan leave Speedcast in early December for personal reasons, but will remain as an advisor to the CEO on a limited-time basis.

Speedcast, Danaos Partner on Maritime Digitalization
Speedcast International Limited, the provider of remote communication and IT solutions, and Danaos Peripherals announced a strategic alliance agreement under which the two companies will combine maritime communications with advanced application management developed by Danaos. SpeedCast Appoints Kagan as COO
Satellite communications and network service provider SpeedCast International Limited has announced the appointment of David Kagan to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) reporting to Chief Executive Officer Pierre-Jean Beylier. Kagan comes to SpeedCast from Globalstar, where he served as President and COO. Partnership Seeks to Boost Maritime VSAT for China
SpeedCast International Limited, a global satellite communications and network service provider, and Beijing Marine Communications and Navigation Co. Ltd (MCN), a subsidiary of the China Transport Telecommunications & Information Centre (CTTIC), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Strategic Cooperation (MOU). Under the MOU, MCN and SpeedCast will form a strategic partnership by integrating MCN’s VSAT network in Asia Pacific and SpeedCast’s global VSAT networks to provide global connectivity to the maritime industry.
Enhanced Satellite Connectivity in Papua New Guinea
Global satellite communications service provider SpeedCast International Limited has entered into an agreement with O3b Networks, where O3b will provide capacity for Papua New Guinea via its Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellite constellation. Inmarsat Maritime Takes Distribution Partner
Inmarsat has appointed SpeedCast International Limited (SpeedCast), a leading global network and satellite communications service provider, as a Distribution Partner (DP) for its flagship maritime service, FleetBroadband, and Fleet One, its new voice and broadband data service for leisure yachts and near-shore fishing boats. As part of the agreement signed today, SpeedCast has also been appointed as a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Fleet Xpress, Inmarsat’s high-speed broadband maritime service, delivered over the new Global Xpress (GX) constellation.
Johnson Joins Speedcast as Senior VP, Energy
