ENN Starts First Phase of Zhoushan LNG Import Terminal

APLNG Ships First LNG Cargo from Australian Megaproject

The first cargo of liquefied natural gas has sailed from the mammoth Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) facility in Queensland, following a delay of at least two weeks with another carrier waiting to be loaded. The startup of the APLNG project comes after a slight delay. APLNG had earlier announced that it expected the first cargo to be exported by the end of 2015. Bechtel, Union Avert Aussie LNG Construction Delays

Engineering giant Bechtel Corp reached a new workplace agreement on Friday with construction workers, averting strikes that could have delayed the start-up of three liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants it is building on Australia's east coast. Bechtel is building $62 billion worth of LNG plants on Curtis Island off the state of Queensland, where the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) approved a new pay and work schedule deal after rejecting two earlier offers.

Senergy Makes Several Shifts in Senior Management

Energy services company Senergy added a number of appointments to its senior management team with to consolidate its position for future growth. The company, which provides fully-integrated project and asset development services across the energy industry, anticipates creating up to 80 new positions by the end of May, as a result of increasing demand for its services. Senergy applies its expertise and technology to develop and manage oil and gas fields and alternative energy projects in partnership with its clients.
