Lewis Promoted to Nautronix Marketing Manager

Cara Lewis, who has been with Nautronix for two years as senior marketing coordinator, has been promoted to marketing manager and will be responsible for managing Nautronix’ branding and marketing strategy. Prior to joining Nautronix, Lewis gained her experience within the oil and gas industry in a marketing role at DOF Subsea. McCudden Named Sales Manager at Nautronix

Through water communication and positioning technology company, Nautronix, announced a new appointment within its sales team. Experienced Business Development Manager, Thomas McCudden has been appointed as the company’s Global Sales Manager for NASNet and will be responsible for developing awareness and worldwide sales of NASNet positioning technology. Prior to joining Nautronix, Thomas worked within the oil and gas, telecommunications and finance industries through previous positions at IET, FreeAgent, BT and latterly Coda Octopus.

The New Standard in Diver Communications

In a deep sea environment, the consequences of poor communication can be life-threatening. Technical divers working in the offshore oil and gas industry need to communicate clearly with the diving bell, vessel and each other as they carry out maintenance and inspections up to several hundred meters water depth. One of the problems faced by commercial divers is that their speech becomes less intelligible the deeper they go. This is due to the increased helium content of their gas mixture; to compensate for the effects of high pressure.

Nautronix Strengthens Sales Team

Through water communication and positioning technology company, Nautronix, announced three new appointments within its sales team. Bob Barrett, joins Nautronix as Sales Manager at the company’s global headquarters in Aberdeen. He will be responsible for developing awareness and understanding of all Nautronix products including NASNet  positioning technology. Prior to joining Nautronix, Bob gained his experience in sales through previous positions within the aerospace and oil and gas industry. Nautronix has identified a skills gap in the oil and gas industry for good quality sales people.

Experienced subsea development manager, Dan Williams, is serving as the company’s VP Sales, Commercial Acoustics. In his new role, Dan will assume direct responsibility for building the awareness of Nautronix ADS² technology in the global marketplace. He will also facilitate the company’s development in the diver communications market.
