William Bergeron to Receive C. Alvin Bertel Award

The World Trade Center of New Orleans announced William T. “Bill” Bergeron, CEO of Bergeron Resources, L.L.C. & Affiliated Companies, as the recipient of the 2018 C. Alvin Bertel Award. The C. Los Angeles Port wins CMMA Awards

The Southern California Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) has named the Port of Los Angeles recipient of two Project Achievement Awards for recently completed Port construction projects. The CMAA hosts awards each year to recognize outstanding achievements in the practice of construction management. The Berths 142-143 Backland Improvements project at the Port won in the over $100 million transportation infrastructure category. Nakilat Holds Fleet Officers Meeting in Doha

Nakilat held its bi-annual Fleet Officers Meeting (FOM) from March 27-28, 2017 at the InterContinental Hotel in Doha, Qatar. Held in Qatar for the first time, the event was attended by about 50 Officers from Nakilat’s LNG and LPG fleets, including those working onboard the vessels newly transitioned to Nakilat-management. The event provided them with the opportunity to interact with one another and share their knowledge and experience on various topics pertaining to ship operations, with a distinct focus on safety.
