Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. appointed Hans Lind Dollerup as Managing Director.Dollerup entered Dan-Bunkering and the industry in 2002, and his employment has taken him from Denmark, where he was born and raised, to Monaco, Houston, Florida and now back to Monaco. During the years, he has been involved in trading, management and strategic business development giving him a broad interface and a great deal of valuable and diverse knowledge.The Monaco office currently consists of four people; however, the company is on the lookout for more traders.

Dan-Bunkering Appoints Four Bunker Traders

Dan-Bunkering has announced the employment of four new bunker traders for the office in Dubai: Shiwei Liao, Elise Huang, Farid Babayev, Jinu Jagan.The latest hiring makes the Middle Eastern office the largest office of the Dan-Bunkering group in terms of number of traders.Shiwei Liao was born and raised in southern China and started his career within the Dan-Bunkering group in the Shanghai office in 2013. Dan-Bunkering (America) has announced the promotion and employment of two staff members.William Cline was recently promoted to Team Leader Offshore Division. Dan-Bunkering DMCC Welcomes Three New Bunker Traders

Dan-Bunkering said it has hired three new Bunker Traders in its Dubai office.Benedek Nagy was born and raised in Hungary, however, at the age of 18 he moved to Denmark to study International Shipping and Trade as well as gain experience within the shipping industry.Fabio Rossetti grew up in Denmark and holds a graduate diploma in Managerial Economics and Innovation Management from Copenhagen Business School.Nemish Jose is of Indian descent. He is an MBA Port & Shipping Management graduate from Indian Maritime University and speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil.

Dan-Bunkering (Monaco) S.A.M. has announced that Pascal Bellet and Dimitris Ardamis were recently employed as Bunker Traders. Pascal Bellet was born and raised in Monaco and graduated from the International University of Monaco in 2010 where after he commenced his career in the shipping and yachting industry. Dimitris Ardamis is originally from Greece, and has a BSc in Maritime Business and Logistics from the University of Plymouth. During his studies and after graduating, Dimitris has acquired broad experience within the shipping industry.

IBIA Celebrates 23th Annual Dinner

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has appointed three new members to its Management Board and one new member to the IBIA in Africa Board. The appointments were announced at the Association’s 23th annual dinner, which was held on February 8 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. Heralding the beginning of International Petroleum week, the prestigious event attracted a record number of attendees, with over 1100 bunker industry professionals at the dinner, despite the gloomy state of the industry.

Dan-Bunkering Hires Operations Assistant

Dan-Bunkering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Shanghai Rep. Office announced that Chloe Gu has been employed as Operations Assistant at the office in Shanghai as of June 1, 2015.   Chloe recently graduated from the Maritime University and has joined the office in Shanghai now comprising 12 employees.

Dan-Bunkering (Middle East) DMCC has announced that Emad Alrifai has been employed as Bunker Trader as per April 1, 2015. Alrifai who has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering brings along both thorough technical knowledge as well as international sales experience from living and working in the Middle East, Far East, Western Europe, and the US. With the latest employment of Emad Alrifai, the Dubai office of the worldwide bunker trading company now comprises 16 employees.

Dan-Bunkering Appoints General Manager

Dan-Bunkering (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. Shanghai Rep. Office announces that Zhang Chao has been employed as General Manager of the company’s subsidiary office in Beijing as of January 1, 2015. Chao, who comes from a similar position within the business, will be responsible for all the company’s activities in Beijing which will include increased focus on purchasing. Zhang Chao is the third member of staff in the Beijing office, and it is expected that the office will increase contributions to the activities in the Chinese region

Ltd. announced that as of May 1, 2014 Bunker Traders Thieu-vi Phung and Koh Kuan Hua have been promoted to Senior Bunker Traders. “Thieu-vi Phung was originally employed by Dan-Bunkering in Copenhagen in 2007 and moved to Singapore in May 2013. He is of French nationality born to Chinese parents and is responsible for the office’s French speaking customers. Stefanie Tay has been with Dan-Bunkering’s Singapore office as Bunker Trader for three years, but started her career in the bunkering industry already in 2006, thus she has several years of experience.
