India has finally got their own internationally recognized and fully established salvage company which can now operate beyond the country’s borders and bid for major contracts all over the world that are open only to members of International Salvage Union.

California ports have been doing a trifle better over the last six years in keeping their capital equipment in good shape, but they are still some way from reaching acceptable levels. The American Council of Engineering Companies in California has issued a B Minus, up from a C Plus in 2006.
