Materials from the sessions of the most recent meeting of the National Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC) Meeting January 19 and January 20 have now been posted on the NMSAC site on the Coast Guard’s Homeport website. Available for download, although not in the following order, are:
  • the original Agenda;
  • the audio for January 19’s morning session;
  • the PowerPoint presentation on Japan Port Security;
  • the audio for January 19’s afternoon session;
  • the audio for January 20’s morning session;
  • the PowerPoint presentation on Maritime Security Harmonization with Canada (it’s labeled “NAPA Presentation”;
  • the PowerPoint presentation on Cargo Security Risk Reduction (it’s labeled “CDC Presentation”); and
  • NMSAC Resolution 1-11

Because links to the interior of the Homeport website don’t last, here’s how to get to these files:

  • open Homeport
  • in the Missions Menu on the left side, click on Maritime Security
  • scroll down the middle portion of the page to National Maritime Security Advisory Committee (NMSAC)
  • click on Full Committee Meeting Minutes
  • scroll down to the end and click on 2011-01-19 (if you arrived at this page a slightly different way, you may have to click more to get to this point)
  • select the file you wish to download from Supporting Documents

Kudos making these materials available so quickly to Ryan Owens, Chief, Industry Outreach Branch, Domestic Ports Division (CG-5441)at Coast Guard HQ
