Crown Riverboat Moved to Leevac Ship Yard

Headquartered in southern Louisiana, LEEVAC Shipyards, LLC is perfectly situated to serve the US Gulf Coast. The new construction ship yard, formally known as LEEVAC Shipyards Jennings, LLC, is located about five miles east of Jennings, Louisiana and is situated on a180-acre site on the west bank of the Mermentau River.
Their ship yard, located just off of old Highway 90, is easily accessible by truck, barge and rail. At the new construction ship yard the river is 350 feet wide and 60 feet deep. Heading 25 miles south by water, the Mermentau River intersects the Intracoastal Canal at mile marker 202. The Intracoastal Canal is the main artery of marine transportation on the US Gulf Coast and a direct passageway to the Gulf of Mexico.
