IAMPE's Newest Class Of Maritime Port Executives

The International Association of Maritime and Port Executives (IAMPE) has announced the latest group of Maritime Port Executives who completed the accredited seminar the week of March 11th at DHS/USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC.

The latest class of graduates include LCDR. William Albright, USCG-MPE; Mr. Zach Bonheim-MPE; Cdr. Charles Bright, USCG-MPE; CDR. Bradely Clare, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Dan Davis, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Leslie Downing, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Jamie Gatz, USCG-MPE; CDR. Jason Gunning, USCG-MPE; Mr. Rajiv Khandpur-MPE; LT. David Liberman, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Ben Mazyck, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Tim McNamara, USCG-MPE; CDR. Nate Menefee, USCG-MPE; CDR. Mark Sawyer, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Eric Stahl, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Matt Walter, USCG-MPE; LCDR. Charles Wilson, USCG-MPE and CAPT. Kurt Zegowitz, NOAA-MPE.  

“The MPE Program was an outstanding opportunity for US Coast Guard personnel to receive formal seminar based knowledge in strategic planning, operations and port administration. This program will certainly enhance the safety, security, environmental protection and economic vitality of the US Marine Transportation System,” said Capt. Kevin C. Kiefer, USCG, AMPE-Deputy Director Marine Transportation Systems, USCG Office of Prevention and Policy.  

The IAMPE is a non-profit industry association dedicated to the educational management development of port, terminal and maritime professionals.  IAMPE professional industry certifications are approved by the Standards and Education Committee of the Association and reviewed and endorsed by the Board of the IAMPE. The program is endorsed for 4 graduate program academic credits by the Loeb-Sullivan School of International Business and Logistics at Maine Maritime Academy.
