Great Idea! These forums tend to either take-off or die - this one looks like a good idea.

I'm happy to answer any questions someone might have about small (20'-40') welded aluminum boats.

Good luck!

RE:Great Idea! I am interested in same type of project, but using steel as well as alum. I have access to yard in Philippines which is fully set to meet these requirements. If you are interested get in touch.

RE:Great Idea! I'm glad you posted, and it's nice to see a boatbuilder working the internet. Free exposure is where it's at right now. I'm down in Texas, and so many small boat builders are having a hard time. I think we have to communicate as much as possible- not just regionally- to survive. Keep it up, and let me know if you're hiring!

Hi Ian,

did you set up that business in the meantime?
I am building in Turkey since nearly 33 years in Wood Epoxy, and I´m interested in expanding into the SE Asian region and in metal building.
IACS classed welders are a must though.

Regards
Richard
