Product demos I know that OceanTech Expo has in-water product demos, and I'm looking for the same kind of experience for a client. Can anyone tell me if there are similar opportunities at other shows?

RE:Product demos My personal preference is go straight to the manufacturer: there are a number of highly experienced builders around. Depending on your application and budget you should be able to piece together the technology you are looking for. When you find the necessary product suited to your application ask the manufacturer to send you a DVD on their product. The DVD should be descriptive enough to meet your needs. In our case Kongsberg bent over backwards to assist us in putting a package together. What’s more they followed up with the support needed and the backup you might need in the field.

RE:Product demos We area a manufacturer of ROVs and do demonstartions at Ocean Business and a couple of other shows. It depends on what size of ROV you are looking for. Generally we only demos for the smaller vehicles. If you let me know what you are looking for I can put you in touch with the right people.

RE:Product demos I am looking for a small 3m remotely operated catamaran for ocean survey. Can you give me some information on the equipment to remotely operate a 50 HP outboard motor fitted on to this vessel.

Best Regards,

RE:Product demos Pradeep,

You should check out http://www.underwaterinspection.org/inspection-technologies/rov-companies/

This site contains a directory of a number of submersible remotely operated vehicles and you may find one of some use to you here.

Please have a look. The site is focused on underwater inspection technology and can be a resource when learning about the subsea industry.
