Sea Safety Training done @ SEA
I have a concept which is to conduct Sea Safety Training at Sea. Small ship emergency exercises to major machinery space fires. As part of the package I offer full Training Package relevant to crew task in the Emergency Organisation. Follow up on training provided and if required assess and evaluate a ships ability to manage Ship Emergencies. Provide a comprehensive written report with recommedation. Review current Ship SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and consultation if required to ammending and improving current procedures. Aviation, Medical (first Aid), Train the Trainer, Sea Survival, Fixed Fire Fighting Systems and post fire routines are other areas my small team of proffessionals can offer training and advise. We offer support to the Captains of vessels and will consult and make recommendation regarding Incident Management to the Captains. To the Shipping Company owners I offer a unique opportunity for myself and a dedicated and small proffessional team to join your ship and provide this service while the vessel is underway. This concept is new and as such any advice comments are appreciated. I would also appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with any interested parties. Thank You Jamie

RE:Sea Safety Training done @ SEA
Dear Jamie Hawke
Yoour idea is great and apart from bussiness it will be a great contribution to maritime industry to supply trained, qualified and compent staff which is essantial for personal safety, safe navigation, clean envoirement and coomercial intrests.
Nearly all maritime nations which provide seafarears for merchant vesssels have marine colleges at shore to priovide pre sea traing to officers and ratings. At this stage manadtory requirements of STCW95 are full filled by arranging short courses for fire fighting, first ais, personal safety and social responsibilty.
From a bussiness point of view you can sert up a school at shore where apart from mandatory requirements of STCW you can conduct advance level courses, training, and prepatory classes of certificate of competency for deck officers and engineering officers.
Best results can be achieved if having a training ship. After shore based training the sseafarears can get onboard traing. From this training ship revenue can be also be generated through cargo. The traineees onboard will be in addition to the safe manning requirement of SOLAS. For this, the type of ship is most important which should have sufficient lifeboat capacity. Due this combined training programme best trained staff can be provided to vessels ship owners/operators.
Since after sailing for more than 20 years on merchant vessels, I ahave been directly involved for ship crew managemnt of reputed lines which include shore based and onbioard traing for over15 years, I will be very happy to full fill yours idea.

Best regards.
