Explains why Loop Current (LC) remains narrow throughout its passage through Gulf of Mexico (GoM), what controls its length, the extra hydraulic drive power that controls the length, and how to absorb the power with turbines and produce electricity for the shore grid. This keeps the LC from intruding into the GoM so that it does not accumulate a large deep pool of warm water that can energize a hurricane.
I have written a technical paper that I can email to anyone interested.
